About Jill

Jill Broussard became Pinal County Superintendent in November 2011, bringing extensive experience and a deep commitment to education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, both earned with honors. Additionally, Jill has earned Principal and Superintendent Certifications, showcasing her preparedness to lead and innovate in the educational field.

Since taking office, Superintendent Broussard has driven transformative change. She initiated an innovative educational program for the H.O.P.E. School and Esperanza School correctional facilities, reflecting her visionary approach to inclusivity and rehabilitation. Her collaboration with Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to promote civic engagement highlights her dedication to comprehensive education.

Jill’s influence extends beyond Pinal County. She has been a pioneering member of the Arizona State Board of Education, served on the First Things First Pinal Regional Council, and played a key role in the National Association of Educational Service Agencies, representing the Western Region. Her involvement in various committees and organizations demonstrates her relentless advocacy for educational reform and equity.

Despite her professional responsibilities, Jill remains deeply connected to her community and family. As a mother of two boys and a host to nine exchange students, she exemplifies compassion and generosity. Her roles as a youth sports coach and Sunday School teacher emphasize her holistic approach to nurturing future generations.

In her diverse roles as a wife, mother, coach, and educator, Jill remains dedicated to enhancing the educational experience in Pinal County. She firmly believes that the success of our educational system is crucial to securing the future of our nation, and she passionately and tirelessly pursues this vision with unwavering dedication.
